One of Italy's most beautiful villages since 2023, Caldes sits at the entrance to Val di Sole and is characterised by its strong agricultural heritage with apple orchards and fruit farms. The majestic Castel Caldes, built in 1230, towers over the town with its frescoed halls and chapel dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Cavizzana

Marilleva Mezzana

Mezzana is an oasis in the heart of the Alps, the starting point for the Marilleva-Folgarida ski resort. Marilleva is spread across two levels (900 and 1400 m) connected by cable car, with direct access to slopes linking to Madonna di Campiglio.

Passo del Tonale

Tonale Pass

Located in Val di Peio, a side valley in the heart of Stelvio National Park. Famous for the Terme di Peio (Trentino's highest spa at 1,400m) with healing waters known since the 1600s. Surrounded by Trentino's highest peaks: Cevedale (3,764m), Vioz (3,644m), San Matteo (3,684m).

Vermiglio

Vermiglio

The last village in Val di Sole before Tonale Pass, nestled in fir forests. Border history with World War I heritage. Cross-country skiing centre with over 20 km of trails. The film "Vermiglio" (2024) by Maura Delpero won the Silver Lion in Venice and is nominated for the 2025 Oscars.
