Hiking
Discovering the Val di Sole on foot is an experience that offers genuine emotions, breathtaking landscapes, and a deep connection with nature. From Hotel Val di Sole, numerous trails and routes start for everyone: from peaceful walks along the Noce River or through fragrant fir forests to more challenging treks towards the peaks of the Ortles-Cevedale Group and the Brenta Dolomites.

Cycling Path
The Val di Sole cycling path runs almost entirely along the course of the Noce River, following the route of old connecting roads as well as embankment and country roads. It covers an elevation gain from 595 meters above sea level in Mostizzolo up to 1160 meters in Cogolo, in Val di Peio.
Various routes can be chosen, and the Dolomiti Express train and the BICI BUS, specially equipped for bicycle transport, can be used to combine itineraries. Bicycles can be rented at the many rental points throughout the valley.
Mountain Bike
Alongside wonderful mountain hikes, lovers of alpine nature have the opportunity to explore the enchanting landscape of Trentino by mountain bike. Numerous routes and trails from alpine hut to alpine hut invite you to take easy or challenging tours to discover the extraordinary nature of Trentino.

In Val di Sole, the Noce River—with 28 navigable kilometers and long, continuous rapids—is one of the most fascinating and exciting rivers for rafting routes in Trentino. You can choose between the adrenaline of the rapids and the equally enjoyable experience of the calmer stretches for a nature-filled holiday. Skiing and Snowboarding
Val di Sole offers direct access to over 300 km of ski slopes, with resorts suitable for all levels:
Marilleva–Folgarida–Madonna di Campiglio–Pinzolo (150 km) From Marilleva and Folgarida, you can easily reach Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo with direct ski-to-ski connections. In addition to the fantastic range of ski slopes, breathtaking views of the Brenta Dolomites await you.
Ponte di Legno–Tonale (100 km) The highlight is the black slope “Paradiso,” one of the longest and most thrilling runs in the entire Alpine region.
Pejo 3000 (20 km) You can reach up to 3000 meters in altitude, with the opportunity to ski in the Stelvio National Park and overlook the Val di Sole, enjoying views of the peaks across all of Trentino.
Snowshoeing and Walks
Walking to discover evocative places and hidden corners of nature reveals our most secret treasures. Our mountains convey absolute calm—especially when explored lightly on snowshoes—and offer routes of every level and difficulty.
Venturing into the woods with snowshoes on your feet, you find total peace and the unique serenity of an enchanting, snow-covered landscape. Walking on snow with snowshoes is becoming increasingly popular: once you get used to it, you can move comfortably and reach interesting destinations even in winter.
Cross-Country Skiing
Are you a cross-country skiing enthusiast? Then choosing to stay at our hotel in Trentino is the right decision! Val di Sole offers skiers unforgettable experiences along peaceful forest trails, wide slopes, and rustic mountain farms.
In the areas of Passo del Tonale, Vermiglio, Cogolo, Ossana, Mezzana, Commezzadura, and Rabbi, cross-country skiing enthusiasts can find 55 km of prepared loops, as well as waxing rooms, ski rentals, changing areas, refreshment stops, ski schools, and specialized instructors.
Just a few steps from our hotel, the Mezzana Cross-Country Center offers a six-kilometer trail that runs through both the municipalities of Pellizzano and Mezzana. In its first section, for about 150 meters, the track runs alongside the Noce River.
